The Republic of Tanzania GALLERY GUICHARD BRIDGE PROGRAM:

Established in 2008, the Gallery Guichard bridge program consist of buyers missions to different parts of the African continent and African Diaspora. Missions involve traveling to the different areas sourcing artists and bringing art back to the gallery. Previous missions have included Dakar, Senegal, Eastern Cape of South Africa, Ethiopia, Egypt, The Republic of Tanzania, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Cartegena,  and Cuba.

Each mission has yielded unique fingerprints with an underlying common thread often found in similar uses of color or various variations of cubism. Most important are the connections with the people and acknowledgement of one Africa throughout the African Diaspora.
