CHICAGO, IL — September–October 2026 — Gallery Guichard, in partnership with The Field Museum, the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, the Garfield Park Conservatory, and the South Shore Cultural Center, proudly presents Soul of the Stone, an eight-month cultural and artistic experience celebrating the rich tradition of Zimbabwean Shona stone sculpture.
Takudzwa Tyrone Chiripanyanga is a Zimbabwean stone sculptor associated with the traditional Shona sculpture movement. His artwork— such as pieces like African Beauty— has been featured internationally through collections like the Gallery Guichard Shona Sculptures Collection.
